Firefox 79 Beta and Developer Edition shipped with a few changes

Mozilla shipped Firefox 79 Beta and Developer Edition today. We have posted five compatibility notes so far, but probably only the noopener implication may need your attention.

Meanwhile, Firefox 78 has also been out of beta today with TLS 1.0/1.1 disabled by default. If your site is blocked by Firefox 78, the chance is, Chrome and other browsers will soon do the same. Be sure to use a newer version of TLS.

As we mentioned before, Firefox 78 is the latest Extended Support Release (ESR) for enterprises. If you or someone in your organization is in charge of updating internal apps for Firefox 78 ESR, our comprehensive list of 78 ESR site compatibility notes might help.
